Accredited Out of School Care for Tamariki in Glen Eden
Our Out of School Care programme is a Ministry of Social Development-accredited service. It has been operating for more than 25 years. We offer safe and affordable before-school, after-school, and school holiday programmes for tamariki 5 to 13 years.
Note: While we welcome all children, a needs assessment is required for children with intellectual and/or physical disabilities. This assessment determines if we can accommodate their needs. It also evaluates if they will benefit from our care programme.
Registration is required for each child in all Out of School Care programmes.
Our Programmes
Before School
Let us take the hassle out of getting the kids to school in the morning!
Our Before-School Care is open from 7am, Monday to Friday. Each morning, we offer a healthy breakfast*, playtime, and drop-off at four local schools. These include Prospect Primary, Konini Primary, Glen Eden Primary, and Glen Eden Intermediate Schools.
*Breakfast option is available for full session booking only.
After School
Stuck in rush-hour traffic? Let us pick up the kids after school!
Our After-School Care is packed with fun! Afternoons at GECH include free play, homework, daily reading time, craft activities, and a light afternoon tea. There are two playgrounds available, and a large park space for outdoor play on fine days. For added convenience, transport from Prospect Primary, Konini Primary, and Glen Eden Primary is included.
School Holiday Care
Save your annual leave and let us entertain the kids during the school holidays!
Our School Holiday programme provides care from 7 am – 6 pm for tamariki aged 5-13. Weekly trips to local activities are offered throughout holiday programmes, alongside house-based days with crafts, sports, educational activities, and more.
